Hurry Up and Wait

We have washed the clothes (both girl's and boy's), put sheets on the baby's bed and picked out names for both a girl and a boy. Now we wait. For what we do not know, will it be a sudden sign Audri notices or a doctor's test that has a bad reading. Will it be that Audri spends a week or two in the hospital or everything works out for her to just go in as scheduled, these things we do not know. We do not even know if it is a boy or girl, healthy or not. What we do know is there is a baby in there that God has entrusted to us and we hope that we may meet this little one and care for it until it is ready to care for itself. Until we hold the baby, there is little we can do but wait, pray, watch for signs and wait.
